The history
A brick house from the 1840s on South Broadway, older than most of downtown, now the best known blues room in the city — Creole and Cajun food, live music every single night, a wall of broken-glass mosaic down the alley and a Hendrix stencil signed 'Billy the Kid' on the gable. The front door still says LEAVE YOUR ATTITUDE AT HOME.
